DOE Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 Roadmap
A print and online report for the Department of Energy and the Alliance to Save Energy.
A Red Chalk Studios client was contracted by the Department of Energy (DOE) to head the creation of a report that would promote Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030, President Obama's initiative to double energy productivity in the United States by 2030. The report would be roadmap for potential policies that the government would put forth in the coming years. By looking at successful approaches implemented by states, businesses, etc., DOE wanted to demonstrate that the Initiative was possible to achieve. I was given the responsibility of designing the report which was almost entirely created in a two and a half week period.
Below are a few spreads from the report. It was both printed as a book and posted on the web. To see the full web version, please visit: http://www.energy2030.org/roadmap .

The graphs and tables in this document had to American Disabilities Act compliant. This meant that I had to made the figures colorblind friendly as you can see below.
